Swish!
Delighted to say what a fab and fun social evening we had as we did a little
creative recycling of clothes, bags, hats, and bric-a-brac at our 'Swish' event.
The company was great, the hospitality via Morag was excellent,
and along with folk wandering off with some stylish swaps,
we raised just over £200 to go towards the church Fabric Fund.
Well done everyone, and thanks to Social Committee for getting this
organised and on the calendar.
Sunday 14 July, 9am: Prayer group meets in the church.
This group is open to all - so welcome!

Sun 11 August, 10.30am: Annual Songs of Praise Service
Over the coming weeks, it's time to nominate hymns from our hymnbook - CH4 -
to be included in our service. There are 8 to 9 hymn 'slots' waiting to be filled.
You're not limited to one nomination, either...
simply fill in your choice on the slip of paper provided, and pop it into the basket in the vestibule
[as, as per prayer group, use the 'contact us' facility].
Deadline for your nominations is 12pm, Sun 4 Aug.

Check out our shiny new postbox in the vestibule!
We'd be delighted if you used it to pop in any used stamps you may have.
The stamps are sent off, bagged up, and sold to collectors, and the funds raised
go to the work of World Mission.
