Update: news, info, events up to 26th Nov.

 CHURCH NOTICES FOR 10-26 NOVEMBER:

Minister on annual leave:
Nikki is currently feeling a little like a part-timer at the  moment due to needing to take a backlog of unused annual leave!! So, she'll be unavailable as of Mon 10th through to, and including, Wed 26th November. Apologies for this, folks, but due to circumstances beyond her control re. hospital/ illness mid-year, her leave has all been budged up in this latter quarter of the year. Hopefully all will be back on track properly for 2026!

Leadhills Memorial, 2025
Remembrance Sunday services:
Our three services this year went well. A slight change of 'routine' with two, however, with a swapping of times for Crawford at 12.30 and Leadhills at 1.30. This was to allow time for the Depute Lord Lieutenant, Bill Tennant, to come to the service at Leadhills - his third of the day, at that point. Mr Tennant read 'In Flander's Fields' and led off the laying of wreaths. There is another tucked around the corner of the memorial from the Council, with Councillor Ralph Barker representing. The third wreath was placed by Mr Steve Johnson, representing the Village Council. The other items that were placed at the Memorial were from the pupils of Leadhills Primary School, and these were placed at a separate service on Friday, at 11am.

A date for your diary:
Sat 6 Dec., 10.30-12pm:
Christmas coffee morning
